The information is varied and may include: newspaper vitals, county histories’ biographical sketches, vitals from County Recorder, mention in various historical books on Solano County, biographical file folder reference, newspaper data, church vital records, etc.

This Copyright book was written in 1990 by Nancy Justus Morebeck and has been donated for our use. 
Solano County 1890 Great Register of Voters Index The index contains the surname, given name, and residence of the registered voter.  The original Great Register of Voter contains information on the naturalization date and place if the male was a naturalized citizen.  It also gives birthplace by country or state, age of the individual, and his occupation.
War Casualties of Solano County These names were gathered from two memorials in front of the Court House on Texas Street, Fairfield. Compiled by Edna Burnes and Joseph Smith.
St. Gertrudes Academy in Rio Vista 1876-1931 The academy was an academic boarding school for girls in Rio Vista from 1876-1931. Copies of the original pages are available for the usual research charge.
Pictorial Souvenir Mare Island Navy Yard Watson Fields, USN in 1924, compiled the publication, Pictorial Souvenir, Mare Island Navy Yard. The booklet contains a nearly complete roster along with group photographs of officers, enlisted men, and civilian employees who served or worked at Mare Island in the early 1920s. This database contains names and subjects extracted from this book by members of the Solano County Genealogical Society.

The records of the 4500 orphans or half-orphans who went through the Good Templars’ Home (orphans from all over California). 
Account Book for Topley's Pioneer Drug Store, Vallejo, California 1891-1897 The Account Book for Topley’s Pioneer Drug Store, Vallejo, California, 1891-1897. Topley’s Drug Store in Vallejo grew out of the employment of James Topley to early Vallejo Druggist W.W. Chapman. This record
of accounts includes the names of his customers, some with personal notes to help identify the customer, and their purchases for the time period 1891-1897.
